Heikel Ben Bouzid was born as the son of Tunisian migrants in Germany. As a cultural scientist, director and writer, he seeks to respond to the question: 'how do people manage the social changes of our time.' Through film, he specializes in social ecological changes, using this medium because of its potential to foster a interdisciplinary discourse between art, science and politics. He already worked as a producer and director for the documentary Hello Democracy and Pratersauna – The Final Round.
