A graduate of the NY Digital Film Academy and UNESCO's Central Asian Screenwriting Laboratory, Suium Sulaimanova has worked at the Kyrgyzfilm National Film Studio as executive producer, scriptwriter, and director and at the "SEA" Studio Ernest Abdyzhaparov as a producer.
Since 2019, Suium is the co-founder and director of the Creative Center Public Foundation
Creative Center - brings together people dedicated to the art of filmmaking with the goal of producing and promoting Central Asian independent films worldwide.
She has participated in national and international film festivals and won awards for her first short film "My Friend - My Enemy". Also, her documentary “The Sky of Our Childhood” won the 2023 CA Film Academy Ak-Ilbirs Best Film of the Year.
