Maria has a degree in Communication and Public Relations from the University of Bucharest. Since 2009, she has been involved in the field of cultural events, collaborating with music and dance festivals such as: Bestfest, Jazz in church, Explore Dance Festival, Rock the City, etc. In 2013, she graduated with a bilingual Master's degree (French, English) in "Inter-cultural and Inter-religious management" at the UNESCO Department in Bucharest.
Between 2012 and 2015, she was project manager and representative of the non-profit association "Jeunesse et Reconstruction" in the various projects, on the territory of France. From 2013 to 2021, she was part of the SEOmonitor team, being alternately: event organizer and Marketing Specialist.
Starting from March 2021 until March 2022, she was Cultural Manager at the "Ion Dumitriu" foundation, and from March until May 2022, she was an event assistant, in the related events department, at One World Romania Festival, in Bucharest.
Maria took over, in June 2022, the position of project coordinator of KineDok, Romania program, run by One World Romania Association. She is responsible both for the actual organization of the screenings-event, the implementation of the promotion campaign and the training of the partner staff, as well as for the financial monitoring of the project.
