Born in Tehran, Pegah Moemen Attare’s interest in art started developing in the early years. As a child, she found her passion for creating children’s plays. At the age of 12, she left Iran with her family and started a new life in Belgium. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Leuven where she studied dentistry. With the childhood dream of ever becoming a filmmaker lingering the mind, she decided to put her degrees aside and so she attended LUCA School of Arts.
