Nicolas Kourek studied film production at the Technical University in Zlín. Subsequently, he worked in Jihlava, where he was one of the founders of the cultural club Bezvědomí, in which he took care of the music, theater and audiovisual program. As part of the club, he organized cultural workshops for Romani children and homeless people. For several years he collaborated on Roma Days and International Roma Day. He founded and co-organizes several independent festivals: Football Against Racism, Vegan Feasts, HellFest or Koifest.
As a director, he cooperates with the documentary cycles of Czech Television – Nedej se and Queer.
