Șerban Georgescu has more than 20 years of experience in documentaries and advertising as an editor, producer and director.

As editor he collaborated with some of the best documentary directors in Romania and abroad including a long time collaboration with Norwegian director and producer David Kinsella on six international awarded documentaries, including Killing Girls or A Beautiful Tragedy, for which his skills were mentioned in the prestigious DOX Magazine (2009). In 2015 he was awarded Best Editing at Other Worlds Austin Festival for the Swiss short film Replika.

He is the producer of long-lasting TV documentary series including Top Secret Bucharest - 86-ep. TV documentary, winner of the 2009 APTR Award (Romanian Association of TV Professionals); MBA - Masters
of Beautiful Activities (24 ep.) or Dynasty (21 ep.)

His personal projects as director and producer include his coverage as cameraman and director of the documentary Everest that follows the first 100% Romanian expedition on Mount Everest in 2003; A Traveller for Life – a 36 episode adventure-and-culture TV series that he filmed and directed himself, traveling to some of the most extreme regions of the planet; Cabbage, Potatoes and other Demons which had its world premiere in 2016 at the prestigious Dok Leipzig film festival. In addition to the artistic acclaim, the film has been used as a case study by the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) at the launch of the Decade of Family Farming; Being Romanian: A Family Journal (2019), which the press called "The best cultural product produced for the (Romanian) Centenary", continues to enjoy real audience success.
