Danae Elon has been living and working as a director and producer in Montreal, Quebec, for the past ten years. Born in Israel, her films attempt to tell stories about the Occupation through a deeply personal perspective. Each film she has made seeks truth, exposes hypocrisy, and addresses injustice through intimate storytelling, focusing on her own family and the city she grew up in: Jerusalem. Danae’s films have been showcased internationally at renowned film festivals and have received numerous awards.
