Valentin Malanetski, born in Moldova, is a filmmaker, director of photography, and pianist based in Vienna. He creates documentaries and musical films rooted in cultural and identity contexts, including Vienna Talks, ViSIEonärinnen, Bauchgefühl, and projects for the Austrian national channel. Since 2023, he has collaborated with Oscar-winning cinematographer Niki Waltl (Navalny) and will assist Carlo S. Hintermann on the feature film Fish starring Tim Roth and Hunter Schafer.
