Yana Titova was born on February 26th 1983 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She has a Bachelor degree in Acting from the Bulgarian National Film and Theatre Academy. As an actress she has won numerous theatre and movie awards, including the Bulgarian Film Academy Award for Best Actress. Yana has just graduated MA in Filmmaking at New Bulgarian University. Her debut short film, as a director, “The Bridge” premiered at London Short Film Festival. With her second short film “ Solveig” Yana won Best Balkan Short Film Award at Bridge Film Festival in Kosovo, and Cinewomen Award for Best Upcoming Film Director . “88MHz” is Yana’s first documetary. Currently she is working on her first feature length film as a writer/ director called “Dyad”.
