Self-taught filmmaker, Antonin Lechat began his cinematic career in Central Asia, living in the region for over 5 years, including 3 in Kyrgyzstan. During his cinematic exploration, Antonin made several short documentaries presented in festivals around the world, including "Du Sang pour les Chevaux" (Blood for Horses), in competition at the FIPADOC festival in Biarritz.
At the same time, Antonin has worked with journalists for leading media such as Lemonde.fr, ARTE.tv, TV5 Monde and France TV.
Very much at ease in a multicultural context, Antonin now lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he works for the Caux Initiatives of Change Foundation, using his skills and experience to promote social change and intercultural dialogue through innovative and inspiring projects.
