Dáša Raimanová is a London-Berlin-based documentary director/producer, originally from Slovakia, whose work explores socio-political topics, primarily focusing on women and minorities. Her short documentary, Gypsy Gadji (2024) was selected for IDFA Docs for Sale and currently awaits a festival premiere. POLYLAND (2018), a documentary feature, she directed and co-produced was screened at international film festivals and became part of Amnesty International's campaign against hate crimes in Poland. Apart from directing/producing independent documentaries, Dáša works for the international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) for which she directed several short docs including - Across the Road - Worlds Apart (2019), which was broadcast in nine European countries and counts 700K online views on DW YouTube platforms.
