Michael and Daniel

Vagrich and the Black Square
The film is a collage, an essay and a documentary in tribute to an avant-garde artist and writer Vagrich Bakhchanyan, who happened to be a personal friend of the filmmaker. Vagrich was born in Kharkov, Ukraine.
The Living Fire
The film follows three men of different generations living in the Ukrainian Carpathians: Ivan is an 82-year-old retired shepherd who lives a lonely life, having recently buried his wife.
