Nistru. The Irreversible Flow of Life
On a meditative trip down the Dniester (Nistru), the river and its flow serve as the allegories of the human life and life of the nation. People living on the banks of the river form a collective protagonist, a human being, and we follow its life from the moment of birth to the old age, as our protagonist goes through all the joys and sorrows of life. As we travel with the river's flow, the stories we hear from the people blend into one tale about the lives of the people on the Dniester.
Ironman
Vojo is a retired police officer who lives in Skopje, capital city of North Macedonia, which happens to be one of the most polluted cities in the world. He finds meaning in his passion and love for innovation, which he directs towards clean energy and ecology. Over the past 15 years, he has successfully implemented eight patented projects, but his passion is reserved for building a perpetual motion machine that will generate clean electricity for all without the need for an energy source. He invests all his pension in building a giant iron machine, ignoring the necessities of life and neglecting the needs of his family. He resolutely refuses to allow the basic laws of physics to stand in the way of his dream, even when faced with setbacks and rejection from the scientific community. Will our Don Quixote-like hero succeed in fulfilling his mission – reducing pollution to save Earth from global warming and destruction by man - or will he redeem himself for the damage his obsession has caused to his family?
