Náš připravovaný dokumentární film "What's the News?" bude zkoumat průběh tvorby zpravodajství a investigativní žurnalistiky v zavedených zpravodajských kanálech, dále rostoucí vliv alternativních mediálních platforem a různé motivace při vytváření zpráv. Také se zaměříme na to, jak média mohou ovlivňovat názory a sociální a demokratické procesy, ale také na hrozby, které ohrožují svobodu nezávislého tisku a žurnalistiky v různých částech světa. Budeme sledovat několik renomovaných novinářů v různých zemích s různým socio-politickým a ekonomickým prostředím a ukázat, jak pracují v dnešním měnícím se mediálním prostředí.
