PRIMEIRA IDADE

PRIMEIRA IDADE is a film production company founded in Portugal in 2014 on the aspiration of producing films in an non-patterned fashion which would itself simultaneously allow for a new approach to the labour implicit to the craft of filmmaking as well as to the materialization of films that could aspire attaining the great translation of the human spirit that only the moving image can. We believe Cinema can change the world: through expanding the perception and elevating the consciousnesses of human beings in the form of an empowerment of the senses. We propose a filmmaking practice based in a respectful collaboration between colleagues, with malleable and geographically mobile practices which could allow each film to have its own unique and unrepeatable mode of production.
