Lucerna Youth Film Festival is a social film screening event which is dedicated to films for children and adolescents. We are looking for films and public service announcements (both live-action and documentary) bringing the important message to the younger generation.
Screenings take place on a regular base in different schools and state institutions of Moscow — partners of the festival. Children and adolescents pick up by monthly voting their favorite films which later compete for the final awards.
Each film screening is followed by a discussion with teenagers. They share their opinions and ideas about what they have seen, fill in the questionnaires.
Lucerna Youth Film Festival is concentrated on establishing a stronger connection between authors and the difficult-to-access target audience — children and teenagers.
