International Film Festival BRUKIVKA is an independent film festival that was founded in the Ukrainian city of Kamianets-Podilskyi in 2017 by director and journalist Andrii Zaiets. From 2017 to 2022, 5 full-fledged festivals were held in Ukraine, to which a total of more than 8,000 works from almost 120 countries were submitted, more than 300 films were shown, which were evaluated by famous figures of Ukrainian and world cinema, dozens of workshops, special presentations were held and performances.
In 2022, "BRUKIVKA" became the first film festival in Ukraine, which resumed its work in the conditions of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, which began on February 24, and thanks to the 34 festival days, more than 311,000 hryvnias were collected in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and victims of Russian war crimes occupiers.
In 2023, the film festival will be held in the German city of Warendorf, the Polish capital of Warsaw, and the Ukrainian cities of Kamianets-Podilskyi, Odesa and Brovary.
