Walenciak Film

Walenciak Film is a newly founded Copenhagen-based production company focused on producing national and international projects that cover both documentary, fiction, animation and experimental film. The mission is to work with filmmakers with a significant, brave voice who are not afraid to challenge the traditional ways of telling stories.
Walenciak Film is run by Julie Friis Walenciak who graduated from the National Film School of Denmark’s producer programme in 2013. After graduation Julie went to work at Zentropa Productions where she was the associate producer of the Nordic noir crime feature The Absent One which broke Danish Box Office Records in 2014. In early 2015 Julie decided to establish Walenciak Film.
