Lucha is an independent production company based in Belgrade, Serbia, founded in 2022 by Jovana Jovičić. We are committed to creating authentic, auteur-driven stories that resonate with international audiences. Our focus spans creative documentaries, feature films, and animated films, with a strong emphasis on bringing personal stories to life through the vision of inspiring and bold filmmakers. Our projects have been presented at and have received awards from numerous international markets and workshops, including EURODOC, Euro Connection, European Short Pitch, FIPADOC, CEE Animation, and Young Horizons among others. Many of our projects involve cross-border co-productions with partners from France, Spain, Croatia, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.
