The “Europe Autour de l'Europe” festival, founded by filmmaker Irena Bilic, takes place every spring in Paris. For two weeks it presents auteur and art films from Greater Europe (47 European countries, members of the Council of Europe). Around 50 feature films and a selection of documentaries, shorts, animation and experimental films are shown in several venues in Paris, including Le Saint-André-des-Arts, L'Entrepôt, Le Grand Action and the Studio des Ursulines. In art house cinemas, foreign cultural centers and some other exceptional places in Paris, the public discovers European cinematographic masterpieces from all eras.
