BE WATER MY FRIEND is a film production company founded in 2024 by Czech-Japanese filmmaker Haruna Honcoop and Taipei-based producer and photographer Karel Pícha.
Inspired by the life philosophy of the legendary actor Bruce Lee in its name, the company is also guided by this philosophy and focuses on original, author driven film projects. Besides that it offers also commercial film projects of Czech-Asian co-production and service production for Asian film producers looking for locations and cooperation for their film projects in the Czech Republic or Central Europe. We are driven by our interest in the culture of the Asian region, as well as our rich experience of film production work in the region.
