International Queer & Migrant Film festival is a film festival for queer & migrant related films as well as a multi-disciplinary community space with art exhibitions, literature and theater. IQMF Amsterdam takes place from December 1-5, 2021 and will travel through the country with a best-of-selection consecutively.
Each year IQMF screens over 40 features, shorts and documentaries from around the world. With an annual audience of 4,500 IQMF is steadily growing. The festival centers around International Human Rights Day and a Human Rights Award is dedicated to a queer filmmaker, artist or activist on this day.
IQMF recognises local and international filmmaking talent through our Awards Program which includes awards for Best Short Film and Best Feature and a € 1,000 grant for best pitch in the Impact Your Doc program.
