Smarty Pants Shooter Ltd.

Smarty Pants Shooter is an independent production house based in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was founded in 2015 by producer and writer Ralitsa Golemanova and director and cinematographer Nikolay Stefanov to craft creative documentaries with social impact. Their first feature, No Place for You in Our Town (2022), premiered at CPH:DOX 2022 and is having a rich festival life across the world, with selections at more than 25 festivals. The duo’s next documentary, Making Friends with the Idea of a Father (2024), was developed in the framework of the EURODOC program and was presented in the Emerging Producers 2023 program at Berlinale. Smarty Pants Shooter is currently developing a slate of own and coproduction projects of emerging filmmakers from the region.
