In 2020, the East Doc Platform will host several delegations of film professionals coming to East Doc Platform to meet new projects, discuss possible co-productions and new partnerships with filmmakers from Central and Eastern Europe. The delegations coming to East Doc Platform 2020 are:
German Delegation
The largest delegation of professionals is coming from the neighbouring Germany. Members of delegation are established producers, looking for co-productions (Tondowski Films, inselfilm produktion, CORSO Film, Neue Celluloid Fabrik, fünferfilm), German broadcasters (ZDF/ARTE), sales agents (New Docs, Deckert Distribution) and festival representatives (DOK Leipzig, goEast, Berlinale).
Tuesday, March 10: The German Day
During Tuesday, German guest will meet with Czech filmmakers within the East Doc Market, will attend the presentation of upcoming Czech documentaries at Czech Docs... Coming Soon and the German day will end with the Czech-German Co-Pro Dinner, informal networking meeting with attending Czech producers and the members of the Czech Audiovisual Producers‘ Association.
German delegation is organized in partnership with DOK Leipzig and with the financial support of the Deutsch-Tschechischen Zukunftsfonds.
Austrian Delegation
East Doc Platform is also a destination for delegation of industry professionals from Austria, namely producers Ralph Wieser (Mischief Films), Johannes Rosenberger (Navigator Film), Filip Antoni Malinowski (Soleil Film) and sales agents Elisabeth Grund (Autlook Filmsales) and Christa Auderlitzky (Filmdelights).

Case study: Art of producing documentaries on art
Austrian producer Johannes Rosenberger of Navigator Film will share his experience and will offer his insight into differences in navigating producing and coproducing different documentary genres using awards winning feature length documentary THE GREAT MUSEUM and successful documentary series THE ART OF MUSEUMS for his case study.

Norwegian Delegation
Delegation of Norwegian producers will attend various events supporting documentary films linked to the Eastern and Central European region – the public pitch presentation of upcoming projects at the East Doc Forum, individual meetings at the East Doc Market, and other networking activities at EDP 2020. Attending producers: Cecilie Bjørnaraa (True Fiction), Carsten Aanonsen (Indie Film), Mette Cheng Munthe-Kaas (Ten Thousand Images), Igor Devold (Aurora Film).
Participation of Norwegian and Czech film professionals at East Doc Platform is organized in cooperation with dok.incubator and supported by the Fund for bilateral relations, EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.
