Four Czech projects at Doc Lab Poland Co-production Market 2017

Doc Lab Poland is a multi-faceted program for documentary filmmakers organized in Poland for Polish projects, focusing on supporting auteur, creative documentary filmmaking.

Doc Lab Poland Co-Production Market is organised since 2015 (May 31 – June 1, 2017, Krakow) in a framework of Krakow Film Festival. Doc Lab Poland Co-Production Market is the only co-production platform for documentary film producers in Poland. Twenty producers from abroad and around twenty from Poland will take part in the meetings aiming to launch co-productions. Additional guests of the market are representatives of film funds, broadcasters, sales agents and festival programmers.

In cooperation with Doc Lab Poland and the Institute of Documentary Film and with the support of the State Cinematography Fund Czech Republic, 4 Czech producers with their projects will be attending the Doc Lab Poland at the Krakow Film Festival. Selected were the following projects:

Libussa Unbound (director Taťána Marková, produced by Film & Sociology), represented by producer Hana Šilarová.

Vienna Calling (director Petr Šprincl, produced by Xova Film), represented by producer Marek Novák.

The Dark Side of Strength (director Martin Mareček, produced by Vernes), represented by producer Jana Brožková.

Identity Es (director Alena Činčerová, produced by Cineart TV Prague), represented by director and scriptwriter Alena Činčerová and co-producer Aleš Hudský.

Screening at Krakow Film Festival: Normal Autistic Film, directed by Miroslav Janek
Screenings: 30.05. 16.30 Pod Baranami Cinema and 02.06. 17.30 Małopolski Ogród Sztuki.
