This year's 58th edition of Krakow Film Festival (May 27 – June 3, 2018), one of the oldest events in Europe dedicated to documentary, animated and short feature films, will include the screening of The Limits of Work (dir. Apolena Rychlíková, 2017) in the non-competition section Somewhere in Europe. The documentary will also be presented at KFF Market along with nine more films from East Silver Caravan.

Using an alias and a hidden camera, a journalist Saša Uhlová spent six months exploring working conditions at the worst-paid jobs in the Czech Republic: in a hospital washroom, at a poultry plant, behind a cash register and at a waste sorting facility. The documentary received the Audience Award at Ji.hlava IDFF in 2017 and got also an award Mimo kino (Beyond Cinema) from Czech film critics. The screening will be held in Pod Baranami Cinema on May 28 at 2 pm (incl. Q&A with the director) and in the culture centre Małopolski Ogród Sztuki on June 1 at 5:30 pm.

The festival is accompanied by KFF Market, dedicated to film industry professionals. This year, The Limits of Work and nine more films from East Silver Caravan are part of KFF Market:

The White World According to Daliborek (dir. Vít Klusák)
The Last Ice Hunters (dir. Jure Breceljnik, Rožle Bregar)
Tarzan’s Testicles (dir. Alexandru Solomon)
Sand and Blood (dir. Matthias Krepp)
Richard Müller: This Is Not Me (dir. Miro Remo)
Paper Stars (dir. Inna Omelchenko)
Nothing Like Before (dir. Lukáš Kokeš, Klára Tasovská)
Mezostajun (dir. Ivan Ramljak)
Avec l'amour (dir. Ilija Cvetkovski, Atanas Georgiev)

The documentary Tashi Delek! (dir. Peeter Rebane, 2015) will take part in the programme section Focus On Estonia. The film follows Tashi, a young Buddhist monk, on his journey home through the Himalayas. The screening will take place on May 30 at 3:30 pm in ARS and on June 1 at 9:30 pm in Pod Baranami Cinema. Licu, a Romanian Story (dir. Ana Dumitrescu, 2017), about the history of Romania from the perspective of  a 92-year-old man, will be screened in Festival Award Winners section on May 28 at 8 pm in ARS and on May 31 at 8 pm in the culture centre Małopolski Ogród Sztuki. Both documentaries were part of East Silver Market.
