Petr Horký got Pavel Koutecký Award for his debut documentary The Russian Job (Švéd v žigulíku), which is part of East Silver. Matěj Šmelko was awarded for his short film Úhorná. The jury has also decided to give a Special Mention to Klára Tasovská and Lukáš Kokeš for their documentary Nothing Like Before (Nic jako dřív).
The award ceremony was held today at Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem. Pavel Koutecký Award is this year, for the first time, part of a new Czech-German festival ELBE DOC.K. More information about the festival and all the nominated films can be found in our previous article.
