Veteranfilm is a portrait about a special friendship, the joy of life and the passing of time. János (96) and Endre (93) are ordinary elderly people, but legendary celebrities among the members of the flight-enthusiast subculture in Hungary. They are the two last living combat pilots who fought in World War 2. They were never led by political ideologies, but always found their happiness among the actual circumstances. Flying is their passion since childhood. The two old friends lightheartedly enjoy the hype that surrounds them, but there is one demon also. Even if they don't fear their own death and even joke about it, they do fear losing each other. None of them wants to be left alone.
