Isabella

Isabella is a 91-year-old fortune-teller who lives alone in a deserted village in Sardinia. But her solitary life is often disturbed by visitors seeking her prophecies. To their surprise, she’s despotic, witty and—in exchange for her services—puts them to work. Together they clean the village and help her use the computer to write her memoir. Isabella’s dream is to renovate the village and bring it back to life. But she faces many challenges: fires, vandals, and—the biggest of all—time. Isabella's own prophecy says she will die in 2 years. As we follow her stubborn fight, we discover the reason for it. In the past, Isabella was mother to a disabled daughter Rita. When Rita died, Isabella dedicated the village to her memory, and now she will do everything she can to save it from oblivion.
