Synopsis
A story of beautiful working girl in Hamburg has a lot in common with a story of homeless poet from Ljubljana. Both are fighting heroin addiction. Danijel’s body is a wreck and he wants to quit. He is writing poems, spending time in hospitals, talking about his plans, about finding a new home... Denise’s beauty sometimes glitters through the hardship which darkened her face. Life among prostitutes is an adventure, combined with drugs it is an endless voyage between enormous joy, fear and pain. She is quitting step by step with the help of non-governmental organization. Both stories are constantly intersecting and overlapping. It becomes clear that in the background they describe different societies and approaches toward illicit drug users – a liberal in Hamburg and opposite in Ljubljana.
