Synopsis
This documentary tells about pictures and drawings created in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
It is an attempt to answer the question of why so many prisoners put their lives at risk drawing a morning assembly in the camp or depicting the selection of Jews who were transported to Auschwitz. Why did they draw gas chambers or their fellow prisoners? Did they want to leave the testimony of their existence? Former prisoners of the Auschwitz concentration camp take part in Pictures from the Death Factory, as well as employees of The Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum located in the former concentration camp.
