Synopsis
The documentary film "Tomato On The Road" is a story of the journey of two tomatoes. One is grown in the south of Spain, travelling through multiple warehouses and packing centres to a dinner table in the Czech Republic in the course of its long life. The other one comes from a garden of a Czech farmer and so its way to the plate is quite short. The film tells both stories and compares the lives of several people who are daily confronted with tomatoes and are part of a gigantic "tomato" chain.
