Max T. Ciorbă (born 1991, Chișinău) graduated from AMTFA, Chișinău, bachelor in Fim Directing(2014) and master degree in Documentary Film(2016). Influenced by his mentor – Vlad Druck – and inspired by everyday life, Max developed an affinity for documentary. People, along with their stories, the environment in which they grow and evolve, feelings and reactions, are key elements in his films. An essential role in the director's vision is assigned to music, which becomes an instrument that generates impressions, allowing bilateral observations: the perspective of the musician-creator and the one of the listener-spectator. As a result, music becomes a leitmotif in films signed by him. His documentaries about music provide an insight into the connection between real life and the artistic one.
