Born 1984 in Russia, she studied Russian history and philosophy at the Moscow State Pedagogical University before graduating from the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and TV, faculty of Documentary Film Direction. She has worked as a line producer, scriptwriter, reporter and director for main Russian TV Channels. Evdokia’s first documentary Early Autumn in Mountains was awarded a diploma for best debut at the International Documentary FF “Message to Men” in St. Petersburg, 2010, and received the main award at journalists’ contest in Moscow, 2011. Her short fiction Heavenly Clouds (2011) was selected for the 34th Moscow IFF short film competition program, the main innovation of the 2012 MIFF edition.
