Olga Lucovnicova is a documentary filmmaker and aspiring researcher in the field of audiovisual arts based in Belgium. She graduated from DocNomads Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Documentary Film Directing, delivered by a consortium of three prominent European universities across three countries: Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. She graduated with magna cum laude distinction and her graduation film ‘My Uncle Tudor’ (2020) was awarded with the Golden Bear at Berlinale 71st Edition and won the European Film Award in 2021. Her first film after graduating ‘Object 817’, recently premiered at Sundance Film Festival. She is currently in production of her first feature length documentary ‘Last Letters From my Grandma’ and developing a next fit under the working title ‘The Last Baron’.
