In 2006, graduated from the Janacek Academy in radio and TV dramaturgy and scriptwriting; in 2007 received a BA in journalism from the Masaryk University in Brno. From 2003-2004 attended Nebraska University as a Rubitschek Scholar (major: broadcasting). Since 2006, Kamila has worked in Czech TV as a commissioning editor for documentary films and factual programming. Since 2007, she has been a lecturer at the Janacek Academy (seminar: TV Documentary Filmmaking). Between 2012 and 2016 she was a creative producer in Czech TV. Since September 2016 she has worked as a vice-dean for international relations at FAMU in Prague.
