Guard

A feature documentary dealing with the duties and "mentality" of the Hlinka Guard. The film aims to describe the motivations and opinions of the members of one of the most bloodstained organizations in 20th century Europe. Soon the last members of the Guard will "silently leave" and Slovakia still avoids addressing probably the darkest period of its history.

The Hijacking (working title)

On 28 September, 1973, two men claiming to be members of the Eagles of the Palestinian Revolution organization hijacked a passenger train on the Czechoslovak-Austrian border. There were Jewish emigres from Soviet Union on the train, who were taken hostage. This was a unique kind of a Palestinian commando attack, for it was planned to take place behind the Iron Curtain. The main political target was the Soviet Union, generally perceived as the biggest supporter of the anti-Zionist cause. The perpetrators clearly stated their intentions and goals, yet the public image of their action was to be shaped by others. This story of the manipulation of reality lies at the core of the film.
