The Cathedral

A Spanish monk is expelled from his monastery after he fails to fit in. He returns home, depressed, but determined. For the next 60 years, with no help or prior architectural expertise, he single-handedly builds a gigantic cathedral, while his community labels him a madman. Now at the age of 96, he has to try to save his illegal cathedral from demolition.
