Michaela graduated department of cinematography from Film and TV Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia. She previously worked with the director Roman Ďuriš, their film Something is Happening world premiered at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival (2019) in the Cinema of Tomorrow competition. She‘s a cinematographer and screenwriter of her first feature film Fakir.
