Director, screenwriter and producer. Founder of Haddock Entertainment film company. A graduate of AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, European Academy of Diplomacy in Warsaw and Film School in Belgrade. She made her feature debut with the bittersweet documentary “UFO: They are already here” (2022). Her works have been screened and awarded at numerous international film festivals. The premiere of her thriller “At present” (2024) was held at the European Film Market during the 74th Berlin International Film Festival. Movie won at the Los Angeles Short Film Award in the “Best Thriller” category. The director's latest film, “Fish swim alive underwater” (2024) was premiered at the 11th Finno-Ugric Film Festival in Tartu. Besides filmmaking, Beata is also an entrepreneur and author. In 2022, she wrote and published an adventure and culinary e-book titled Islandówki, which explores Icelandic heritage through the lens of her personal experiences during two months-long expeditions. The e-book became a viral hit in Poland in 2022.
