IDF Delegation at DOK Leipzig 2024

We’re thrilled to return to Leipzig after last year’s successful Czech presence, now with an even larger delegation! Thanks to our continued collaboration with DOK Leipzig, the festival will once again host the 2nd Session of the Ex Oriente Film documentary workshop and welcome many Czech film professionals. We are also excited to present new films at the DOK Film Market.

The delegation led by IDF representatives comprises various film industry representatives, including producers, festival representatives, screenwriters, editors, and directors. The delegates you can meet at DOK Leipzig are - Gabriela Daniels, Karolína Fránková, Jan Hubáček, Kristína Husová, Ondřej Kazík, Miloš Lochman, Gordon Lovitt, Silvie Michajlova, Vít Poláček, Anna Skočdopolová, Jan Syruček and Ondřej Zima. The IDF will be represented by: Patrik Buchar, Veronika F. Dvořáčková, Anna Kaslová, Eliška Plechatová and Lucie Zelená.

We’ll also introduce new films at the DOK Film Market, including projects from the Czech delegation at DOK Leipzig 2024. Individual meetings between Czech and German producers will be organised on Saturday, October 26, 2024. German producers interested in joining can contact us at dvorackova@dokweb.net. Additionally, the East Silver selection and Czech documentaries chosen by the Institute of Documentary Film will be featured at the DOK Film Market Online.

The IDF delegation is supported by Creative Europe, the Ministry of Culture Czech Republic, the Czech Film Fund, APA Czech Producers and the Deutsch-Tschechische Zukunftsfonds.
