The 9th edition of East Doc Platform, the largest industry event for Central and East European documentary films, will take place in Prague March 7–13, 2020. We are looking forward to see many of you!
The 8th edition, held March 9–15, 2019, was focused on Eastern Logic. During 7 days 350 guests attended the event, 57 projects were presented and 10 awards given.
East Doc Platform is organized by the Institute of Documentary Film in association with One World IHRDFF. The East Doc Platform includes East Doc Market, pitching East Doc Shorts, workshop East Doc Interactive and presentation Czech Docs... Coming Soon. The higlight of the event is East Doc Forum, which has become over the years the region's largest and prestigious pitching forum. Successful titles pitched at East Doc Forum include Something Better to Come, Over the Limit, When the War Comes, Sofia’s Last Ambulance, Village Without Women, Ukrainian Sheriffs, The Russian Job and Brothers.
Last but not least, the 3rd Ex Oriente Film workshop focused on feature length documentary projects in development is held within the East Doc Platform.
The open call for feature length, short and interactive projects will be open at the beginning of September 2019.
