Ex Oriente Film 2018 has announced the selection of 12 projects

The Institute of Documentary Film (IDF) is proud to present 12 documentaries from 15 different countries that have been selected for the 16th edition of the Ex Oriente Film workshop, an international training programme focused on development and funding of creative documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe.

We look forward to welcome them and accompany them in their development with the guidance of recognized professionals.

IDF received the record number of 101 applications from 39 different countries for this year's open call of Ex Oriente Film. In 15 years of its activity Ex Oriente Film has welcomed more than 160 projects from the CEE region and represents a stronghold for the creative development of the filmmakers of the region.
