Czech delegation heading to DOK Leipzig

Following last year's success Institute of Documentary Film is going back to DOK Leipzig. This year's delegation consists of 24 professionals from all corners of the film industry. The 2nd session of the Ex Oriente training will also take place there.

This year’s nominations for the most prestigious European awards by the European Film Academy include two IDF projects: We Will Not Fade Away by Alisa Kovalenko and Motherland by Hanna Badziaka and Alexander Mihalkovich.

Major success for participants of IDF projects at the Sarajevo Film Festival

Two awards at the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival went to IDF participants' films. Anna Gyimesi received the Heart of Sarajevo Award for the Best Student Film for her graduation project Falling; Kumjana Novakova was granted the Human Rights Award

The IDF has granted the East Silver Caravan Award for the first time. At the Sarajevo Festival it went to the project Your Life Without Me by Anna Rubi. The project amplifies the voices of women who valiantly champion their children's rights.
